Washer has been good. Only exception is that the signal on the washer is not loud enough. New dryer has a problem with noise. Also thereis not a signal that is loud enough.

Another powerhouse of a machine! I think my only complaint is that when any settings are changed, it automatically sets to 'mostly dry' instead of 'dry'. I don't like my clothes damp, I'm more concerned about dryness than I am about wrinkles. Especially since we sometimes have to leave the clothes in the dryer for a few days. But this is a small nuisance, it's an awesome dryer.

I HAVE HAD THIS DRYER FOR 11 MONTHES. IT STOPPED WORKING. GAVE AN ERROR CODE 66. REPAIR MAN CAME FROM WAGNERS IN WINSTON-SALEM THE NEXT DAY. SAID IT WAS THE BELT TIED IT TOGETHER TIL THEY COULD GET A BELT. THAT WAS A WEEK AGO. THE DRYER WILL NOT DRY CLOTHES. WILL RUN AN HOUR AND JUST AS WET AS THEY WERE WHEN I OUT THEM ON. I BOUGHT A SPEED QUEEN BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THE BEST.!! BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN THE PART WILL COME IN. SO HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DRY MY CLOTHES. I purchased this dryer and matching washer based on the name and the warranty in Nov '24. I have since had to had to have the appliance repair co. come out 4 times to service it and now waiting for the 5th as the dryer was leaking gas. Definitely not the standard I expected.

We've owned our Speed Queen dryer for approximately 4 months, and it's been the best dryer we've ever owned. It's super quiet, very efficient, and has features that are easy to use. The control panel is very self explanatory, as well as having features such as a pet hair removal cycle and steam sanitizing. We bought the Speed Queen washer and dryer, and do not expect to have to replace them or have any issues with them for a very long time. We love our Speed Queen appliances!

Having a hard time getting the dryer cycle to get my clothes dry? Have to use the time setting. It is very loud when first starting. The end of cycle signal needs to be louder than the highest setting.

I am a pet owner and I absolutely love both the pet and the steam features of this dryer. The Pet cycles really do remove excess fur from our clothes and from pet bedding very effectively. The steam cycles do everything from reducing wrinkles to sanitizing laundry. I love the preset settings and I can also customize the settings based on my own experience. Finally, I love the lint screen. It is so easy to clean and it does not allow big lint chunks to drop into the dryer. A lot of thought went into this dryer and it shows. Very happy with this purchase.

Dryer was dumping water into drum from first day of installation. Had warranty repair company come to our home and they tore entire new dryer apart in our home to install a new water valve for the steam function. Next day the dryer was dumping water into drum again and is still defective. Called appliance store about the problem and they told me it was not their problem, and we were stuck with this defective unit and had to deal with warranty repair which has so far been ineffective. I will never buy another Speed Queen appliance again!

They dryer dries well, however we have a repair man out her 3 times since we purchased it. It makes a loud thumping sound. The technician has had to replace the wheels twice. He showed me where the rubber on the wheels is being broken down. He called customer service and they said that your company is aware of the issue and that you engineers are working on it. For what we paid, I believe that all customers deserve a new unit. You should discontinue the sale of this product until the issue is resolved.

Love it! My only complaint is that I can only use the LOW setting with the Timed Setting. I have towels that need to be dried on LOW, but I have to press the up/down arrows to set the timer. There has to be an easier way to do this.

The reviews and videos we watched were right. Dumped our 7 year old piece of you know what LG machines that didn't wash or dry clothes, and had gunk in every washed load, and had to dry clothes 4 and 5 times to get them dry. Chose the 7000 series over the 5000 and have been super happy. They just work like good machines are supposed to. Would do it over again in a heart beat. Wish I had done it sooner.

Works great overall and dries clothes efficiently, i'm happy with the performance and capacity. One downside is the noise the roller bars make when it's first started - it sounds like baseballs thumping around inside for a few minutes. I've heard they are looking into a fix.

We have had these machines for a couple of months and so far they have lived up to their reputations. Sure they cost a little more, but seem well worth it. Clothes are clean and they run quietly. We haven't used all the features yet. The proof of this being a great investment will be in the long term, and if they continue to perform as they do now.

I've purchased washer/dryer combos from nearly every manufacturer. The Maytag washer was DOA and the installer had to take it back. I waited a month for a replacement. The GE washer was NOISY!. The Whirlpool lost some front panel functionality after a year. A friend recommended Speed Queen and I like the offering. Jessup's Major Appliance Centers had demo units in the showroom and I took advantage of them to measure the depth (my laundry room is only 32 inches deep). The sales staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Both salesmen owned Speed Queen so that was reassuring, as is the warranty. The washer is extremely quiet and that's a huge plus for me. So far so good.
