Complete and utter garbage

Purchased in July '19 from Home Depot to replace another broken 7 year old Whirlpool. First one arrived broken out of the box. Didn't run the cycle at all, soap sat dry on the bottom of the washer. Immediately contacted HD for a replacement, but was going to take two weeks so I opted to purchase another unit from Lowes. After three months same situation, dirty dishes and dried soap at the bottom of the pan. Contacted Warranty support and got on a schedule only to find the replacement parts were 2 weeks + out. I pleaded to get the dishwasher replaced or repaired by some other means as we were about to close Escrow on our home and I was told to 'wait'. Still sitting with a dead washer days from handing my keys to a new owner. I have had similar experience with our Whirlpool refrigerator. It's cheap unreliable garbage and the onus is on the buyer to play QC for the manufacturer so they can avoid the expense and push it onto the consumer. This will indeed be the last Whirlpool appliance I purchase. Warranty support is not real and the parts used to manufacture their products are not adequately tested prior to shipping.

Great Whirlpool Dishwasher!

I bought this dishwasher a couple of months ago and I love it. It has an hour wash feature that cleans the dishes in half the time. It has various cycles to choose from and includes fan dry so the dishes are dry when I take them out! I also love the upper adjustable rack and the easy removable utensil baskets. I also like that the control panel is hidden away when the dishwasher door is closed, which makes it look sleek!

I don't like this dishwasher

I really don't like this dish washer! You need to be a brain surgeon to use it------Hold this for one second, hold this for 3 seconds, close door before 4 seconds, etc. etc. etc. Controls don't fit well under the counter overhang, so either the dishwasher sticks out so I can use the controls easily, or it's flush with the cabinets, but I have a hard time squeezing my fingers into the buttons, and can't really see which button is which. The directions are a real pain to use. Instead of a nice booklet, you have a sheet as big as a newspaper that's folded into different languages. The door squeals every time I open it and the bottom rack can easily slide right off when pulling it out. The Normal cycle takes 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete! How is that ever saving on electricity and who has that kind of time to babysit a dishwasher because you should never leave a major appliance running when you're not home.

Clean Dishes!!

About a month ago We had to replace our dishwasher that was probably original with the 30 year old house... after shopping around we decided on this one! We have been so pleased with it so far! We don't have to wash the dishes before we load them in the dishwasher! It is so quiet! And it is also very nice that it has adjustable top rack and you can change the bottom rack around with the silverware rack which is helpful when fitting different arrangements of dishes! We have been so pleased! The only complaint is that it's run time is almost three hours for a normal load, but that seems to be the case with most new dishwasher so we just try to run it at night and it hasn't been an issue!

My husband and I bought this dishwasher to replace a 10 year old Maytag. We love the brand. The cycles on this machine are simple yet clean so well. The fan dry works well but does not dry plastic thoroughly. This does not take away from the performance in my eyes. I prefer our plastic to air-dry anyway. We would buy this machine again. Also, it is good to know that the machine is super quiet and very spacious.

I am happy with the job the washer does. I don't like the shuttering of the filling cycle it shakes my copper supply line. The rest of the cycles are very quiet .

I love my new Whirlpool dishwasher after listening to the previous one roar for 12 years. It has a sleek clean look inside and out. I have been so pleased that I decided I needed a new Whirlpool washer and dryer. Bought them today, installing tomorrow.
