We are very happy with our microwave purchase!

We have had our Whirlpool microwave for several months now, and I feel that I have used it often enough to write a comprehensive review about it. I will start with the Pros, of which there are many, and go by each feature:
PROS:
Large 2.1 Cu-Ft Capacity: The spacious cavity allows me to put even large containers or large food items like a small turkey (yes, a turkey in a casserole dish on the cooking rack!) in my microwave. An oblong container like a 9 x 13 casserole dish won't fit on the turntable, but just use the cooking rack for it.
Cooking Rack: The cooking rack really comes in handy for the holidays or when cooking for a crowd. It is helpful for cooking a second item simultaneously, or for cooking an oblong dish that won't rotate on the turntable. BTW, the turntable can be turned on or off with the touch of a button.
Fingerprint Resistant: The exterior of the microwave resists fingerprints and smudges by simply wiping with a damp cloth or paper towel, making the entire surface easy to keep clean.
CleanRelease® Non-Stick Interior: The non-stick coating on the interior of the microwave enables you to simply wipe away any spills and splatters with a damp cloth or paper towel, even if they are not wiped up right away.
4-Speed Fan: The fan provides the correct amount of ventilation by automatically starting, when needed, when you are using the stovetop or oven and the temperature above the stove reaches a certain point.
Maximum Cooking Power: Up to 1,000 watts of power delivers rapid, uniform cooking results.
End-Of-Cycle Chime: A pleasant melody notifies you when the cooking cycle is complete. I have a little trouble hearing, but the chime is clearly audible to me, which I am grateful for.
Handy "Quick Buttons:" – Popcorn, Potato, Dinner Plate, Vegetable, Pizza, Frozen Entrée, Beverage, Steam/Simmer, Warm/Hold, Reheat/Defrost, and Soften/Melt. Just press the appropriate button for whatever food you are preparing. The button is self-explanatory and has further directions if necessary. For example, if you are heating a dish of leftovers, simply place the dish in the microwave and press "Dinner Plate." Voila! The plate is heated to the perfect temperature!
+30 Second Option: With the touch of a button, quickly set the microwave timer for 30 seconds, or add 30 seconds to the food already cooking in the microwave.
Sensor cooking: Internal sensors automatically determine the doneness of food by measuring the steam (moisture and humidity) emitted from food as it heats and automatically adjusts the cooking time. Sensor cooking eliminates the need to set the cooking time and power level.
Adjustable Cooktop Lighting: We leave the single-bulb light on 24 hours a day because we like to have our stovetop lit up whenever we are cooking, and like to use this light as a nightlight in the kitchen, but the bulb lasted only 6 months. It was very easy to replace, however, with a star screwdriver. We found the 40-watt medium-base bulb at Lowe's for $6. We are 68 years old and our eyesight isn't what it used to be, so we do wish that the light were either multiple bulbs or were a higher wattage so that we could see better. This leads me to my one and only complaint.
CONS:
Interior lighting: My husband and I feel that the single-bulb interior lighting at the front of the microwave is poor; we wish it were brighter. It is rather dim in the interior cavity for us to see food actually cooking! Granted, we are 68 and our eyesight is not the best (and yes, we've both had cataract surgery, lol).
