We just purchased a newly build home. This Combo oven came as a standard. I really like the remote capabilities. It is super helpful to a working mother to be able to preheat oven on my way home. What I don't like is how the oven and microwave get turned off. I personally would like to see an actual off button for both of them. They both work great and the oven is a nice size. When the over is turned off there is a fan that runs and on my specific set it is kind of loud and annoying. It may be the way it was installed.

There is no way to turn the oven off! It stayed on for 90 minutes after I tried to turn it off tonight. It seems to bake well and the microwave works. The controls are confusing and the owners manual offers no help. It looks very nice but its performance is disappointing.

We built our house and added Whirlpool appliances. I used my oven once and it worked fine. The next night I was preheating the oven and it gave me an error code stating 'upper cool fan speed' and would not preheat. So here I sit waiting for a new part that will take at least a week to get in and then they will have to schedule a technician to install it. Very disappointed and the quality thus far.

The only thing wrong with this appliance is the way the door opens on the microwave. If the hinge were on the left instead of on the bottom it would be easier to reach the back of the microwave. I am 5'2" and in order to reach the back with the door opening as it does I have to stand on a stool.

Poor door design, noisy fan

Though I don't like many aspects of the controls and fan is the noisest I've ever had in any oven /microwave, the biggest problem is that the microwave door doesn't open flat. Makes it tricky to remove large dishes or mugs without hitting the door or top and spilling the contents. This was installed new by home builder; wish they had provided another option.

Oven is quick to heat up and the microwave tone when your food is done is cute. Only wish the unit would connect to my wifi through Whirlpool app as stated. The screen menu options were very confusing and did not correctly tell you how to simply turn off the oven. We had to call a help line and the support person whom we reached just hold us to depress the oven button for 3 seconds to turn it off. NOWHERE in the documentation did it state that.

Purchased this model wall oven for a remodel. Good price and appearance. There should be more and better usage instructions. Very vague.

Smart Oven & Microwave combo

This unit came with my new condo and while I don't use a microwave, the oven (and broiler) works well and is quiet. It will be a learning curve to figure out how to use this new machine.
