So far I am very satisfied with my purchase. I had a hard time finding a 25 cu. ft. refrigerator in white that wouldn't be too deep. I love that the ice maker is in the door, which gives me added space in the freezer. The shelf that folds in the freezer to accommodate a pizza is a nice added feature. The fold back shelf in the refrigerator is great for storing a gallon of milk.

I bought the side byside a month age and really love the lighting and the extra room created by the shelving design. Both the fridge space and the freezer space are larger than my last one which was the same size. I think I like the larger ice cubes but am getting used to the smaller ones.

Big mistake If I could do it over I would

I purchased this in 8/2018 along with a several othe whirlpool appliances. In June of 2019 the freezer simply stopped working, I have had a repairman out 5+ times, been on the phone with whirlpool Several parts have been replaced same issue NO ICE. I am now waiting for a new door, again if I could do it over I would not have purchased this model. I am very disappointed in situation, I believe it could have been handled better. While I understand this isn't top of the line it shouldn't break down in 10 months time. Not a happy customer, next time I will be more choosey.

I was so excited to receive my new refrigerator. I was especially looking forward to the ice dispenser, and the large inside for better storage. Nothing but problems my dispenser continues to leak I have to keep a towel on the shelf or I would have water on the floor. I have had 2 opinions and 2 replacements of the unit. Now they are going to replace the freezers door. Whirlpool has been wonderful in trying to find a solution but I feel this ice maker was poorly designed. I will continue to let them find the answer. In the end I will need to find a better whirlpool model. PS it is very loud and very annoying, they say that is normal. Let's see what happens in 6 weeks that is how long they said it would take to get the new door.

Our LG went belly-up on us so we spent two full days doing our due diligence. This refrigerator had the features we wanted at a very reasonable price. The all-steel moving parts for the ice maker are a big plus.

We have been using our new refrigerator for just over a month and really like the features it has (built-in door ice maker, sliding adjustable shelf, pizza shelf in freezer, pop can rack, etc.). The refrigerator is attractive as well. Our only complaint at this time is that it seems to be noisier than our prior refrigerator. We can hear when the ice cube maker is filling with water and also just the refrigerator running in general. It's not unbearable but something we have all noticed. That being said, I would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a nice refrigerator!

I like the half shelf for larger items

I bought this because my old one quit. I've never had a side by side before and it's taking some getting use to, but I like the spacing of the shelves and the larger shelves on the door. The only problem I'm having is when dispensing the ice through the door, the flap doesn't always close and the ice comes out into the floor later and when dispensing water it splatters on the door bottom.

Some design tweeking needed

Bought similar unit three months ago. It works fine, but found that there is no way to take out the shelves, located in the freezer, for cleanup, if one has a spill. Also the water/ice filter, that came with the refrigerator, lasted two months, At 45 plus dollars per filter, this is unacceptable, The control settings for the refrigerator and freezer, held true for cooling. Time will tell if the unit is reliable,
